Wow, I was so excited this morning to receive Day 1 of The Challenge.  Sadly I had to start work early and wait until the afternoon to watch the video. I can tell you it was hard not to sneak into a corner somewhere and watch it on my iPhone!

Day 1 -  What is a Niche?

I liked the video, 10 minutes and easy to follow.  Understanding the difference between a market, niche and micro niche seemed simple enough.  I liked the examples.  My only problem was that when it came to taking the action required all I could think about was the examples already used!  Doh!   My mind was blank.  I fumbled around with Google for a while and managed to complete the task.  The task was to find 3 examples of market, niche and micro niche.  I wanted more. I had a look around the forum for advice and inspiration.  Fortunately for me there was some fine advice and away I went again with the task.  Task now completed to a more acceptable standard (in my opinion).

I realised that I should carry a small pocket book around for moments throughout the day where ideas might arise. My memory is terrible so knowing myself I would forget to take the note book or manage to take it and forget I have it! :)
